These files usually contain an installer and a bunch of XML controlls.  A -h flag provides a couple options for running the installer, but sometimes you don&#8217;t want to run it, you want to get at the contents.<\/p>\n<p>.scexe files contain a hidden <code>--unpack<\/code> flag that will unpack the contents to the directory of your choosing.<\/p>\n<p>For example:<br \/>\n<code><br \/>\n# .\/SOMEFILE.scexe --unpack=\/tmp\/test\/<br \/>\nSOMEFILE.xml<br \/>\nSOMEFILE-PayLoad-version.version.version-1.zip<br \/>\nsomething.txt<br \/>\ninstaller<br \/>\nreadme.txt<br \/>\nreference.xml<br \/>\n<\/code><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Did you find this post useful or have questions or comments?
